    This lovely patient underwent an umbilical float tummy tuck and liposuction of the abdomen and flanks.  Via liposuction 6500cc (1.7 gallons) of fat was removed.  She obtained a great result then lost an additional 35lbs!!.  To again make this perfect a mini tummy tuck with just removal of the excess skin would be necessary.  If you're serious about losing weight then this should be done prior to surgery.  However, in this patient's case the weight loss was not planned.
