    This lovely patient came to me with a ruptured right implant.   She had undergone an augmentation with 300cc saline implants 15 years ago.  The time between the rupture and surgery was eight days.  However, it takes very little time for the breast tissue and capsule to contract.  Even after three months you can still tell that the right breast has not fully expanded and softened.  This will likely take a few more months until it is as soft as the left breast.
