    This is a great example of an early post operative result.  This patient underwent aggressive liposuction of her abdomen and posterior flanks followed by a standard tummy tuck.  Her scar is doing very well at this early stage.  You can see that her belly button is still quite swollen. This swelling will take several more weeks to resolve.  Of important note is the bulge in her upper abdomen.  This is due to internal fat and although it is a bit improved with muscle tightening it can only be improved through weight loss.
