    It is common for women who seek breast reduction surgery to state that they want to be a "B" cup after surgery.  As is the case with this patient. However, for most patients this would leave them with breasts that are not proportionate to their bodies. We had a second consultation to discuss this and she agreed to undergo a reduction that would leave her proportionate. For this patient approximately 650g of tissue was removed from each breast.  She is very happy with the result and now sees why a "B" would not be as aesthetically pleasing.
