    This lovely patient had undergone a significant right breast biopsy several years ago.  This left her with a significantly distorted breast.  A 200g reduction was performed on the left breast and a lift on the right breast.  Unfortunately, she developed some areas of hypertrophic scarring.  This was treated with injected steroids which improved their appearance but did not completely remove the hypertrophic scars.  Hypertrophic or keloid scarring are possible complications with patients of darker complexions.
