    This lovely woman underwent a subglandular breast augmentation with silicone implants over twenty years ago.  Although she wasn't having any issues with the implants she felt that she no longer desired them.  Older implants had issues with silicone bleed and therefore it is my policy to remove the implants and the surrounding capsules.  This was done and fortunately after tissue contracture she has no contour deformities which can occur following implant removal.
