    This patient underwent liposuction of the abdomen and flanks, by another plastic surgeon, several years ago.  Unfortunately, it left her with a lot of contour irregularity in the periumbilical and infraumbilical regions.  By doing more liposuction of the abdomen and flanks and a full tummy tuck with muscle repair we achieved a much better result.  She still has an umbilical hernia which I have suggested she get repaired by a general surgeon.
