    In addition to an excellent result from the tummy tuck, she also underwent a breast lift.  You can see that the transverse scars on the breasts have areas that are thickened and raised.  This is hypertrophic scarring.  Unfortunately, we don't know why this happens.  These scars can itch or hurt.  Injections of steroids can help with this, but unfortunately they typically don't reduce the appearance. Overall, she obtained an excellent result.
