    This case is a great illustration of something that can happen in breast augmentation, inframammary fold descent.  If you'll notice her right breast nipple is about 1cm higher than the left.  In addition, the distance from the nipple to the inframammary fold is longer.  The inframammary fold or the crease under the right breast has moved down 1cm.  This happens occasionally and in this case is pretty minor.  I use a three layer closure of the incisions with in deepest layer in very strong tissue.  So why does it continue to occasionally happen?  No one knows.  All plastic surgeons, who use a three layer closure, have a few of these.  Those that only close the skin have a much higher rate.  In her case she didn't really notice it and was happy with the outcome.  So no revision is planned.
