Radiesse

Radiesse is a wrinkle filler developed with safety, longevity and effectiveness in mind. The product is made with tiny, smooth calcium hydoxylapatite microspheres in a water based gel. The microspheres create a scaffolding effect on which your own body's collagen grows, producing a long-lasting correction of wrinkles and folds. The spheres degrade slowly over years for a longer-lasting, semi-permanent effect.

Dr. Hess uses will often recommend Radiesse for filling deep creases between the eyes and on the forehead, as well as for nose, cheek and chin contouring. Some of the skin imperfections listed below may be corrected with Radiesse:

How long does Radiesse last?

Radiesse has a strong safety record and provides correction which compares favorably with other fillers while lasting longer (2 to 3 years!). The most commonly treated areas are the nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Radiesse is completely biocompatible, with no need for pretreatment testing. For more sensitive areas of the face, topical numbing or blocks may make you more comfortable.
