				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class=" border alignleft size-medium wp-image-893" style="border: 0pt none; margin: 5px;" title="Two women" src="https://www.hessplasticsurgery.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/women_talking-300x199.jpg" alt="Two women" width="270" height="179" align="left" />Even the most well informed patients have said to me  “my girlfriend has X size implants and we&#8217;re the same height and weight so I think I should get the same because they look great on her.”<cite> </span>But the operative words here are “…<strong>on her</strong>.”  There are so many anatomical differences such as starting breast size and tissue, body frame, buttock size, shoulder and hip width, just to name a few.  Basically, these differences make it impossible to form such a correlation between you and your friend.</p>
<p>Even though two women may seem similar in terms of body size, this is only a snap-shot of the overall patient.  There are too many other factors (see blogs 1-5 and 7-10), that must be considered to make such a blanket statement.<cite> If you th</span>ink of choosing the correct implant as the ultimate in customizing, then you&#8217;ll  be open to accepting a different size or style implant than your friend.  If not, then you could end up with a look that doesn&#8217;t fit you and doesn&#8217;t make you happy.</p>
<p>As always I work <em>with</em> my patients on this and all other areas so they are fully educated on the process of choosing the correct breast implant.</p>
